As we begin to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and all the progress our movement has made, please join the DC Chapter of Log Cabin Republicans in welcoming a true pioneer and founding father of the movement, Paul Kuntzler!

“He’s one of the Founding Fathers of the modern LGBT movement in our city, just a real silent soldier. I would never have been elected but for Paul and his contemporaries.” – David Catania, former DC Council Member

“It’s like having an oral history book right there. No one ever talks when he speaks. We just sit there in silence and awe.” – Earl Fowlkes, President Gertrude Stein Democratic Club

Mr. Kuntzler will present a discussion on “The Persecution of Gays and Lesbians in the Federal Government in 1947, and My Involvement in the Gay Rights Movement from 1961-1980.”

In addition to this discussion, the Chapter will hold its annual Board Elections, so make sure you are current with your membership in order to participate. Join or renew your membership at
