Upcoming Chapter Events Mar 14

From all the social media posts over the past couple of weeks, it appears that many of you have been busy cheering on the US in the Winter Olympics or, more likely, binge-watching season two of House of Cards.  Now that you may have some free time, consider joining the DC Chapter of Log Cabin Republicans at several upcoming events we have planned!

Don’t worry, between our lively discussions on ENDA and LCR candidates, you can hang-on to all the hype by comparing which House of Card character you favor from the Buzzfeed quiz you undoubtedly took, brag about how many DC places you could pinpoint from the opening scene,  or dish about your favorite Johnny Wier outfit as well!

Wednesday, February 26th Connect with thousands of LGBTA professionals and stop by the DC Log Cabin Republicans table and help us spread the word about what we do and recruit members at the Capital Area Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce’s 6th Annual Mega Networking and Social Event at Town Danceboutique from 6:30pm-8:30pm.  This event is FREE, but all must register at http://bit.ly/1hw8Q0d

Thursday, March 6th – It’s the first Thursday of the month, so you know what that means!  Kick off ”March Madness”  and join the DC Log Cabin Republicans at our Monthly Happy Hour upstairs at Nellies Sports Bar from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Tuesday, March 11th Help elect Log Cabin Republicans to office by joining us, along with special guest S.E. Cupp, at the Equality Leadership Fund’s Event in Support of Carl DeMaio, Candidate for Congress CA-52, and Richard Tisei, Candidate for Congress MA-06.  Because the DC Chapter of Log Cabin Republicans is a Co-Host for this event, our members can attend for a special rate of $50, but feel free to donate more or become a Co-Host yourself!  For more information and to RSVP, please see the attached flyer and remember to mention that you are a registered member of our Chapter.

Wednesday, March 19th Please join the DC Log Cabin Republicans for our March Meeting on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) with guest speakers Christian Berle, Legislative Director for Freedom to Work and Trevor Burrus, Research Fellow, Center for Constitutional Studies at The Cato Institute.   Meeting will be held in the community room at the Camden Roosevelt located at 2101 16th Street, NW.
